Overview

In this 2-hour workshop you will:

  • Review the key elements of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) and the intercultural communicative language teaching (iCLT) principles, in relation to the NZ Learning Languages curriculum.

  • Explore and experience different types of intercultural communicative tasks designed for beginner students in Years 7-10.

  • Discuss possible ideas for adaption and/or development as well as opportunities for collaboration.
