2022 GROW 15 - Multi-modal Assessment in the Language Classroom
Course Duration
10 month programme
Date/Time

24 February - 2 November 2022

Overview

Developing good assessment practice helps with understanding our students’ learning. How can we make sure our assessments are telling both us and our students the information we need to know? How can we use assessment to track student progress, and inform next steps in the learning?
Assessment of languages is an ever-changing area and requires analysis, skill development, and a focus on communication.
This programme will help you to understand how to use formative and summative assessment to guide learning. It will help you to develop good assessment practice in years 7 - 10 that will lead to better outcomes for years 11-13 students.

This programme is intended for those teachers who have successfully completed GROW Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) programmes in 2019, 2020 or 2021. It aims to further enhance your understanding and implementation of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) approach with more individualized support.
